47 I'd love to see you there as we kick off the new year together. Hello, and welcome back to Proudly ADHD. I'm your host, Coach Kathy Rashidian, and it's been quite a journey, two years since our last episode to be exact. I can't tell you how excited I am to be back behind the mic with you. For those of you that continue to listen to my episodes, I want to thank you. Even though we haven't published any new episodes for the last two years, this podcast has been thriving.
33 Lots of downloads, lots of global listening, and lots of feedback about when am I going to publish the next episode. So here we go. For those of you just joining us, let me give you a little bit of a quick background. In 2018, I received my ADHD diagnosis as an adult. At that time, I was climbing the corporate ladder in tech and marketing. But that diagnosis, it was like finding the missing piece of the puzzle that I'd been trying to solve my whole life. 2019 marked a tipping point for me. I made what some call a radical decision, leaving my corporate career to become an executive coach specializing in ADHD in the workplace.
20 This wasn't just about changing jobs. It was about aligning my life with my values, my strengths, and my authentic self. Over the past six years, I've had the privilege of coaching leaders and professionals who, like me, are navigating the unique intersection of ADHD and leadership. This podcast has been our meeting ground, a place where we dive deep into leadership, self-mastery, and professional growth through the ADHD lens. And while I've been away from the microphone, I've been immersed in growing my practice and my skills and gathering new insights about what it truly means to thrive as a leader with ADHD.
08 One of my biggest revelations through it all, the extraordinary power of community. When I launched the Quantum Thinkers in 2021, I witnessed firsthand how connection and shared experiences can catalyze growth. This has led me to expand beyond one-on-one coaching to create more group experiences that foster both individual and collective growth. So what's ahead for us? This show is getting a makeover, starting with the name. We're going to be calling this show Refined Leadership, ADHD Lens, Reflecting Our Evolved Focus.
49 We'll be exploring practical leadership strategies that are tailored for the ADHD mind, career advancement techniques that leverage our unique thinking patterns, methods for aligning your work with your core values and strengths. And also from time to time, I will be speaking to other experts in the field of ADHD and also bringing real world stories from leaders who are thriving with ADHD. Whether you're an emerging leader, a seasoned executive, or someone ready to make meaningful change, this is your space to grow and learn with us.
30 Thank you for being part of this next chapter with me. Don't forget to subscribe wherever you get your podcast and visit ReadySetChoose.com to join our community. Until next time, keep leading with authenticity and keep on shining. Music.
